Never forget Staffing and Recruiting is a relationship building business. Confusion exists with clients and candidates, because Recruiting Firms do not operate the same way. Clean out your desk so you won’t waste time hunting for things. Make a commitment to utilize your ATS, which will eliminate the necessity to have files covering your desk. And lastly, hold yourself accountable this year by conducting a weekly review. Stand back every Friday afternoon and ask yourself three questions:
- What is working? (do more of those things the following week)
- What is wasting my time? (stop doing those things immediately)
- What new ideas can you implement? (make changes to get better results)
When you arrive with a can-do attitude, focus on best use of your time, share written expectations and conduct a weekly review, you will be more successful in 2020!
